On April 4, 2026, at FAM – Fah Lanna Art Museum in Chiang Mai, Nipan Chawcharernpon had the opportunity to share his knowledge through a workshop on the fundamentals of VFX with participants who were interested in learning and exploring the creative process together. The atmosphere throughout the workshop was filled with creativity, enjoyment, and an open space for participants to experiment, think, and engage hands-on with the craft.
The workshop focused on essential VFX fundamentals that could be further developed into various forms of creative work, whether in filmmaking, online media, or other creative industries. The goal was to help participants understand the core concepts, workflow, and practical applications of VFX techniques in an approachable and engaging way.
The event was also honored by the presence of Jason Deford, who joined as a guest speaker to share knowledge on cinematic videography and film lighting techniques, along with valuable real-world industry experiences. In addition, participants had the opportunity to take part in a small practical workshop session, allowing them to apply what they had learned directly through hands-on practice.
More than just a theoretical learning experience, this workshop became a creative space where participants could explore two essential dimensions of filmmaking and visual storytelling — technical skills and narrative expression — through experimentation, shared experiences, and inspiration.
These moments captured from the event serve as another meaningful chapter of learning, connecting art, technology, and storytelling together in a thoughtful and inspiring way.
Film Village sincerely hopes that this experience will inspire all participants to continue developing the knowledge and skills they gained into their own creative works in the future.
