Updated: Dec 26, 2025

On Wednesday, 24 September 2025, the Nipan Studio team had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of the Lanna museum, Fahlanna Art Museum – ฟ้าล้านนา อาร์ท มิวเซียม,” located in the heart of Chiang Mai. The event featured traditional dance performances and a variety of cultural shows that beautifully showcased Lanna heritage, along with an impressive selection of food that was diverse, delicious, and visually stunning.

Within the museum, a wide range of artistic works from numerous artists are displayed, alongside live demonstrations of traditional Lanna textile weaving, collections of vintage photographs capturing various corners of Chiang Mai, and curated displays of both antique and contemporary artifacts. The space also includes a striking glass room illuminated with dynamic lighting, adding to the museum’s visual appeal.

As part of this exhibition, the NPS team had the opportunity to create a digital art installation inside a large-scale projection mapping room, where visuals were projected onto expansive walls. This installation revealed the stories and diverse identities of Lanna culture through a thoughtful composition of illustrated artwork combined with various scenic and visual techniques. The result was an immersive, multi-dimensional experience that captivated visitors and highlighted the fusion of digital art within the museum—standing out as one of the key highlights of this remarkable venue.
